ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Job Description

  • Filing and organizing of all expenses, receipts, and invoices from vendors.
  • Recording of financial transactions in the accounting system (Quickbooks).
  • Assist with inventory control and analysis
  • Assist with cost/profitability analysis on individual products and projects
  • Assist with data entry and financial analysis
  • Provide general office and executive administrative support, as applicable.

 

Requirements

Bsc. or MA in Accounting Degree or Current Major
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Experience in Quickbooks preferred

PROJECT MANAGER BIOPHILIC DESIGN

Full Job Description

Plant The Future (Founded in 2008) is an award-winning biophilic design studio based in Miami, FL. We design and build products, spaces and experiences that connect people with nature and their spiritual essence. Our design studio is located in the up-and-coming area of Little River along with our showroom, fabrication facility, plant nursery, and event space. We are looking for a fully bilingual (Spanish/English), client-focused, budget-oriented, experienced project manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Lead the management of Botanical / Biophilic Design projects involving interior plants installations, botanic art, green walls with live and preserved plants, and other plant-related installations.
  • Work with design team to prepare proposals, mood boards and presentations.
  • Prepare project budgets, timelines and pricing estimates.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion including sourcing, cost analysis, management of sub-ˇcontractors, installations, construction administration, etc.
  • Set-up and administer project management software.
  • Manage and develop design studio sourcing library.
  • Oversee the creation of renderings, 3D Modeling, CAD floorplans, and other technical drawings for design projects.
  • Manage design studio media library (photos & videos) for all projects.
  • Provide rendering and design services support to retail stores.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • A Professional Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Landscape Design, or Architecture.
  • 5-6 years of employment experience in interior design project management
  • Project Management Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of technical drawings and basic use of applicable software
  • Strong competency in interior design and architectural specifications, calculations and industry standards
  • Expert organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communications skills (both oral and written). Bi-lingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a must.
  • Knowledge of project management process, workflow and terminology.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment under tight and strict deadlines. Team player.
  • Possession of strong creative, analytical and tactical execution capabilities. Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Appreciation, knowledge and interest in design/architecture, plants, landscape, and Biophilia.
  • Experience working with sub-contractors such as carpenters, painters, and other fabricators.
