PLANT HEALTH & CARE POLICY

LIVE PLANT CARE

Plants are living organisms that require proper environmental conditions and ongoing care.

Plant performance depends on:

  • light
  • humidity
  • temperature
  • watering
  • drainage
  • airflow
  • maintenance practices

PTF is not responsible for plant decline resulting from conditions beyond our control after delivery or pickup.

ACCLIMATION

Plants may experience temporary stress or acclimation shock after relocation. Some leaf drop, yellowing, or adjustment is normal during transition into a new environment.

WATERING & LIGHTING

Improper watering and lighting are among the most common causes of plant decline.

Customers are responsible for researching and maintaining proper care conditions appropriate for each plant species.

PRESERVED MOSS & BOTANICALS

Preserved moss and preserved botanical products:

  • should not be watered
  • should not be exposed to direct sunlight
  • should not be exposed to excessive humidity
  • should not be sprayed with liquids or chemicals

Color variation and gradual aging are natural characteristics of preserved materials.
