Candelabros (Set of 2) by Gloria Rodriguez Brizuela

In Candelabros (Set of 2), Gloria Rodriguez Brizuela reinterprets the traditional candlestick through an organic, sculptural language. Each elongated form is shaped with an irregular, tactile surface, giving the works an elemental presence reminiscent of mineral deposits, coral formations, and objects transformed by natural processes.

Presented as a pair, the candelabros establish a subtle dialogue through differences in silhouette, proportion, and surface. Created for the Eden Kampong Exhibition, the works blur the distinction between functional object and sculpture, bringing ritual, materiality, and the irregular beauty of the handmade into conversation.
