Tequesta Light Pyramid by Paloma Teppa

In Tequesta Light Pyramid, Paloma Teppa traces the geometry of the pyramid through a delicate, open framework situated directly within the landscape. Its linear structure is softened by an irregular, organic surface, creating a dialogue between precise architectural form and the textures of the natural world.

By day, the sculpture frames fragments of its surrounding environment; when illuminated, its geometry takes on a luminous presence, transforming the landscape through line and light. Created for the Eden Kampong Exhibition, Tequesta Light Pyramid explores the intersection of sculpture, architecture, and nature, allowing the surrounding garden to become an active part of the work.

Each work is individually crafted; variations in surface, texture, and finish are intrinsic to its handmade character.

Install securely on a stable, level surface suitable for the work’s scale and environment. Clean gently with a soft cloth or brush and avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals. For illuminated installations, inspect electrical components periodically and follow the recommended outdoor lighting and maintenance requirements.
