Description
In Moss Bean Medium, Paloma Teppa transforms a familiar furniture-like silhouette into a living sculptural landscape. Dense formations of moss gather across its broad, biomorphic surface, creating an undulating topography that evokes forest floors, miniature hills, and vegetation slowly overtaking the built environment.
The work challenges distinctions between object and landscape, introducing the textures of the natural world at an intimate, human scale. Created for the Eden Kampong Exhibition, Moss Bean Medium reflects Teppa’s ongoing dialogue between art, design, and nature, presenting greenery itself as both material and sculptural gesture.
