Description
In Plate, Julieta Teppa approaches the familiar vessel as a quiet sculptural study of material, gesture, and imperfection. Its circular form is defined by a softly irregular rim and subtly worked surface, preserving the tactile evidence of the making process.
Restrained in scale and expression, the work draws attention to nuanced variations in texture and form. Created for the Eden Kampong Exhibition, the piece reflects an intimate dialogue between the handmade object and the organic irregularities found in nature.
