Tequesta Lamp by Paloma Teppa

In Tequesta Lamp, Paloma Teppa brings illumination and sculpture into a singular composition. Beneath the restrained geometry of its cylindrical shade, an intricately modeled base unfolds through layered, organic forms, recalling coral growth, marine deposits, and fragments accumulated along a shoreline.

The contrast between the clean architectural shade and the expressive texture of the base gives the work a distinctive tension between refinement and natural irregularity. Created for the Eden Kampong Exhibition, Tequesta Lamp transforms a functional source of light into a sculptural object, exploring how material, texture, and illumination can reshape the atmosphere of an interior.
